An archaeological dig on the Menemonee Reservation in Wisconsin yielded a clay pot. The pot was dated to 800 years ago and contained seeds. Some of the seeds were planted to see if 800 year old seeds were viable. An ancient squash was the result.

    God save the queen

I’m sick of the media telling us women can only be beautiful during a very tiny portion of their lives. Look at this amazing person, and tell me she hasn’t always been and remains to this day drop dead gorgeous.

Ladies, you’re always and forever beautiful. Remember that.

I’m not saying that beauty is the most important thing, I’m only saying your age will never steal it from you. So just keep rockin’ it.

    Why We Need Sleep

All of our cells accumulate waste while they are working, and these waste products can be toxic. If they aren’t removed they can build up and kill our cells. It turns out that toxic proteins are removed twice as fast when we are asleep than when we are awake. Researchers injected mice with colored toxic proteins to see the system at work. The pale blue in the above images are fluid-filled channels between neurons. They expand and flush out waste. (Source & More Information)

Project Monsoon  Clever colorful street art that only appears when it rains

After the Superhydrophobic Street Art, which uses a superhydrophobic coating to create designs which appear only in the rain, here is the Project Monsoon, which uses the same concept, this time with hydrochromic painting, which reveals its color only when wet. This amazing and clever project was designed by a Korean team of designers, in collaboration with Pantone, to provide color to the streets of Seoul during the rainy season, while paying tribute to the Korean culture. A brilliant idea! Source: ufunk
